Your business must have valid and current company registration documents.
A qualified or licensed plumber must be employed by the business.

The Pathway Members Program is designed for businesses that are not yet able to meet the full IOPSA membership requirements. It provides e-learning, mentorship and hands-on support to help them progress towards full membership.
To join the Pathway Members Program, the business must have valid company registration documents and a qualified or licensed plumber in the employ of the business.
The Year 1 fee is R2 500.
Full IOPSA membership can be achieved in as little as one year, while members have up to three years to complete the programme.
The Pathway Members Program is intended for small businesses and startups that are not yet able to meet the full membership requirements.
Support includes an e-learning platform and progress dashboard, one-on-one industry mentoring, the Pathway Directory, regional workshops, invoicing and compliance templates, and discounted training.
Once the checklist is completed, the pathway leads to full IOPSA membership, including voting rights, premium event access and full Institute benefits.
